Rev Jonathan MorrisAssociate Vicar
Jonathan came to the Benefice of Wulfric in 2006, having been ordained in 2002 and served as a curate in Taunton. A qualified social worker, prior to ordination Jonathan was managing projects for street homeless people, having also worked as a probation officer and community worker in Liverpool. He has also lived in the communities of L’Arche and Lothlorien, living alongside people with disability and mental health problems, respectively.
Jonathan is married to Beatrice and together they have three children all of whom are in various schools in the local area. He is a keen gardener and cyclist.
By temperament he is drawn to the contemplative tradition within the Church and is interested in the coming together of the rich traditions of spirituality and justice.
Jonathan currently serves as the Rural Dean of Crewkerne and chairs the Diocesan group that concerns itself with matters of social justice and the environment.
